Maria Araxi Sachpazian - Chair 





















Maria Sachpazian [BA education & RSA dip/tefl (hons)] is the owner and managing director of Input on Education (IoE), a flexible e-company which provides Academic and Business Support services to Foreign Language Schools. She has wide experience as a teacher, teacher trainer and materials’ developer. Maria also works as an EFL teacher at the Straight Up Markogiannopoulou Schools.


Linda Manney - Vice chair
















Dr. Linda Manney has been teaching in the English Department, Pinewood American International School, since 2005.  Linda Manney earned the Ph. D. and M.A. degrees in Linguistics (University of California, San Diego) the M.A. in TESL (Arizona State University), and the B.A. in Spanish and English language and literature (Ohio University). As TESOL M-T Vice President, Linda helps to organize high quality teacher training seminars, and she also works as editorial assistant on the TESOL MT E-Bulletin.


Vassiliki Mandalou - Treasurer



















Vassiliki Mandalou is a freelance teacher and writer of  Literature, poetry and philosophy. She studied ancient Greek and modern Greek philology at the University of Ioannina-Greece and specialised in teaching students with learning difficulties and special needs in the Technical University of Larissa. She tries to promote the "poetry in motion " project to all levels of learners and thus to promote poetry teaching from another aspect. She's the treasurer of Tesol Macedonia - Thrace Northern Greece.



Maria Theologidou - General Secretary, E-bulletin editor




Maria Theologidou has been working as an EFL teacher and translator since 2004. She graduated from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 2005 and also holds an MA in Audiovisual Translation from the University of Surrey. She's interested in promoting creativity and fostering critical thinking in the classroom and has presented workshops in TESOL conventions in Thessaloniki and Athens, Greece.  Cathy Salonikidis - Membership Secretary




Cathy Salonikidis has been an ESL teacher for over 24 years  and has taught  a wide range of levels and age groups in Canada, U.S., Colombia, U.K. and Greece. She has a  B.A. in Spanish and a graduate Diploma in TESOL from Concordia University in Canada. She is also a Cambridge and Michigan speaking examiner , regular presenter and a board member of the TESOL Macedonia Thrace of Greece.

Beyond teaching, she loves travelling and exploring the world, photography and cooking.



Emmanuel Kontovas - Membership Secretary, Media Officer Assistant




















Emmanuel Kontovas graduated from the English Language and Literature Department of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 2004. Since then he has been working as an English teacher with various age groups and for different purposes. He has attended several teacher training seminars as well as creative writing seminars. He has been a member of Tesol MTh since 2002 and this is his third term as a board member.


Kyriaki Koukouraki - SEETA Representative



















Dr Kyriaki Koukouraki has been teaching English and German for over 15 years, and has worked for 5 years as lecturer for Translation and Pragmatics at the Ionian University, Corfu, Greece.  Currently she is teaching Translation Strategies and Principles at the New York College in Thessaloniki. 
Kyriaki completed her studies at the Ionian University of Corfu, having obtained two Bachelor’s degrees in both Interpreting and Translation. Furthermore, she holds a PhD on Intercultural Relations awarded by the Johannes Gutenberg University of Mainz, Germany. She is an active researcher with many presentations on international conferences.



Efi Tzouri - Media Officer

















Efi is a graduate of the English Language and Literature Department of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. Having done studies both in Liverpool John Moores University and Royal Holloway University of London she became specialised in Theatre Education and Theatre Production. Efi loves acting and directing and she is really keen on working with youngsters' theatre groups. She has been teaching English for almost 15 years. Efi has been a radio show co-presenter and she has collaborated with the Public Central Library of Serres on a digital storytelling project called "Storieschest" sponsored by Future Library and Niarchos Foundation. Currently, she is teaching English to young learners and teenagers. She has been a board member of TESOL Macedonia Thrace Northern Greece for four years holding mainly the role of Media officer.

Dimitra Christopoulou has been teaching english English for ten years. She is a freelance teacher teaching all ages and levels. She has been trained at the Hellenic American Union and has also taken courses on translation too.
